XY Scorer ("the App") is a cricket scoring app. This policy explains what information the App handles, where it is stored, and how it is used. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Your data is saved on your own device first, so the App works fully offline. If you sign in with Google, your teams and matches are also backed up to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) servers. Access is protected by security rules — only your own account can read or write your data.
Your data is used only to provide App features: live scoring, scorecards, player statistics, match history, PDF export and cloud backup. Your data is never sold, rented or shared with any third party.
If you choose to broadcast a match live, the current match score is stored temporarily and can be viewed by anyone you give the 6-digit match code to. Only you (the scorer) can write to that match. You can stop the broadcast at any time, which removes the live match data.
Scorecard PDFs are generated on your device. They are shared with other people only when you choose to share them yourself (for example on WhatsApp).
You can delete any match or team inside the App — when online, the cloud copy is removed as well. To request complete deletion of your account data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.
The App is a general-audience sports utility and does not knowingly collect sensitive information from children.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
